Luke Harvis is a screenwriter/executive producer. His credits include "The Diabolical" (SXSW Film Festival), released theatrically in the U.S. and U.K., followed by distribution on Netflix, iTunes and Amazon, and "Clinical", now available on Netflix.

In this seminar, Luke will provide strategies to filmmakers and screenwriters on finding the right distribution model for their film, specifically focused on streaming platforms, and the ins and outs of pitching and licensing your film to Netflix.

Finding the Right Distributor For Your Film

Koji Steven Sakai is a screenwriter and producer.  He has written and/or produced five feature films, including the indie hit, "The People I’ve Slept With" (released theatrically). He has produced  a comedy special on Starz and Hulu, and another limited comedy series, which premiered on Tubi TV. He is currently going into production on "The Commandos", a feature film he wrote and produced, starring Mickey Rourke. Koji is also a screenwriting instructor at UCLA Extensions, New York Film Academy in Burbank, and Chapman University.

In this seminar, Koji will be provide insight and strategies on which distribution options are the best for your film or series.

Indie Film Financing and Distribution

Ricky Margolis has served as a Producer, Executive Producer, Production Executive and/or Financier on over 
30 projects including films, TV shows and digital web series for companies such as the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery, Entertainment One, Fox and A&E Network/Lifetime. He has worked in the international sales division, coordinating marketing campaigns for films and TV shows at global markets across the world including Cannes, AFM (Los Angeles), Berlin, Toronto, MIPCOM/MIPTV (Cannes) and Sundance. He was also Involved in the development, production and promotion of projects at one of Europe's leading studios. Ricky is a published author, having released numerous books on film financing and distribution.

In this seminar, Ricky will provide participants with insight and strategies for filmmakers to secure financing and distribution for your indie film.
