This year's Big Apple Film Festival will accept film submissions until September 1, 2008.
The submission fee for all feature films (over 70 minutes) is as follows:
Prior to June 30 - USD$50
July 1 to August 1 – USD$60
August 2 to August 15 – USD$70
August 16-September 1 - USD$80
The submission fee for all short films (under 70 minutes), animation, experimental and student films are as follows:
Prior to June 30 - USD$35
July 1 to August 1 – USD$45
August 2 to August 15 – USD$55
August 16 to September 1 – USD$65

Please print out the submission form and submit it together with your payment and a DVD screener in NTSC format. Please be sure to read the regulations and general instructions before submitting:
This year's festival will accept submissions until September 1, 2008.
1. Big Apple Film Festival accepts submissions for features, shorts, documentaries, short documentaries, animation, experimental and student films.
2. All films submitted must have been completed on or after September 1, 2007.
3. All films must be submitted on DVD or VHS tape in NTSC format.
4. If you would like your screening copy returned, you must provide self-addressed stamped packaging.
5. All feature narratives and feature documentaries must be over 70 minutes in length.
6. All short film narratives and short documentaries must be under 70 minutes in length.
7. Animated, experimental and student films of all lengths will be considered.
8. All filmmakers must have an exhibition format available in at least one of the following: DVD, digibeta, Beta SP, VHS, 35mm or 16mm.
9. All submissions must include a printed application form and a DVD screener in NTSC format. The submission must also include a check or money order of the appropriate funds made out to: Big Apple Film Festival .
