BIG APPLE FILM FESTIVAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

This year’s festival will accept film and screenplay submissions until September 15, 2006. 

1. Big Apple Film Festival accepts submissions for features, shorts, documentaries, music videos and experimental work.
2. All films submitted must have been completed on or after January 1, 2005.
3. All films must be submitted on a VHS tape or DVD.
4. If you would like your VHS or DVD screening copy returned, you must provide self-addressed stamped packaging.
5. All feature films must be over 70 minutes in length.
6. The submission fee for all feature films is: USD$40 for the early bird deadline of June 30,2006; USD$50 for the regular deadline August 15, 2006; USD$60 for the late deadline September 1,2006; or USD$70 for the Extended Without a Box Deadline of September 15, 2006.
7. The submission fee for all short films (under 70 minutes) is: USD$25 for the early bird deadline of June 30,2006; USD$35 for the regular deadline August 15, 2006; USD$45 for the late deadline September 1,2006; or USD$55 for the Extended Without a Box Deadline of September 15, 2006.
8. All submissions must include a VHS or DVD screener in NTSC format, which must also include your Withoutabox tracking number. If you are paying by check, please make all checks payable to: Big Apple Film Festival.

10. ONLY Filmmakers who are INVITED to screen their work at the BAFF will receive notification.
11. All submission fees are non-refundable
12. Please do not send a press kit with your submission until you are notified of an acceptance.Only digital press kits will be accepted.
